The color assessment is important when one is operating in a leadership role. Knowing each team member color will allow you to place them on a task they will be able to accomplish the teams desired goal.
That's a great observation Carolyn, but don't limit your assignments to only those who have a dominant preference for one colour or another. Remember, we all have all four colours, and sometimes when given the opportunity to 'stretch' into our lesser-used energies, we have the greatest personal growth. It's also a great idea to look at the total team colour dynamics - are there empty areas around the wheel? Who on your team can you call on to 'dial up' their second or third dominant colour energies to contribute?
